Criminal Intelligence Training

CISC sponsors criminal intelligence courses for CISC member agencies at various locations across the country. The training schedule for 2012-2013 is:

Course curriculum varies, but commonly delivered courses cover various stages of the intelligence process, such as planning and direction, collection/evaluation, collation, criminal analysis, reporting/dissemination and Internet research. CISC may also participate in joint training with law enforcement partners.

The selection of candidates and the course syllabus are coordinated with the assistance of CISC's provincial bureaus. CISC's member agencies are responsible for participants' travel expenses. CISC Central Bureau will pay for meals and accommodation unless advised otherwise. Please note however, that each participant will have to pay for his own meals and accommodation during training. After completion of the course, each participant will submit an expense claim to the course facilitator and his expenses will be reimbursed by CISC Central Bureau.
