Update on “Threat and Risk Assessments”
The chapter "Threat and Risk Assessments" by Natasha Tusikov and Robert Fahlman has
been removed as the book Strategic Thinking in Criminal Intelligence, edited by
Dr. Jerry H. Ratcliffe (Temple University, Philadelphia) is now published.
"This chapter is meant to be a practical guide for practitioners of criminal intelligence to undertake a threat and risk assessment (TRA). It details the basic terminology, concepts and components within TRAs. The sequential steps for undertaking a TRA are outlined with an emphasis on maintaining methodological rigour. Throughout the chapter, there is a focus on useful processes to facilitate consistency in identifying, assessing and prioritizing threat and risk in the production of TRAs."
